Headteacher’s Welcome
Our Nursery is a brand new, purpose built provision for nursery children aged three and four. At Charborough Road, we have adopted a child centred approach to learning, focusing on the needs and interests of each individual. Through a broad and exciting curriculum, we creatively use our indoor and outdoor learning spaces to engage and enthuse our children. We work closely with our parents and carers to ensure we meet the needs of all children, enabling them to reach their full potential. Our ultimate goal is to provide the highest possible quality start to your child’s school journey.

- Our little one has made so much progress since starting at Charborough Road, it has been a joy to see her become more fully herself, make friends and be excited about learning new things. Mr Davolls and Mrs Hoare have been really thoughtful and observant about what she needs and have made her progression fun and collaborative with us. I have no doubt that her experience in Nursery will create a fantastic foundation for her transition to school.

Sophia has been attending the newly opened nursery now since the start of the school year in September. We have noticed she is progressing brilliantly throughout all aspects of life improving confidence, making friends and thoroughly enjoying attending classes. Sophia has come a long way in the short time you have been open, especially her speech and puzzle solving skills, and we could not be happier or praise you enough on the development and commitment shown to these young children.
We would have no hesitation to highly recommend this school with the large play area and soon to be completed field area.
- Charborough Road Nursery has given my son an excellent start to his educational journey. It has allowed him to build confidence and independence. The homely environment of the setting, along with the welcoming and supportive staff, not just in the Nursery but throughout the school setting, has enabled my child to feel safe and secure quickly in a new environment. This also gives me as a parent, reassurance that he is supported as an individual within their care, allowing him to grow and flourish as an independent little person. He always goes into the Nursery and leaves with a big smile!! As a parent, you can’t ask for more.
- Having recently moved to the area, we arranged a tour of Charborough Road Nursery. Meeting Mr Davolls, Mrs Hoare and Mr Walsh, seeing their wonderful facilities and hearing their vision for future development of the early years provision, made the decision incredibly easy. Our son has settled well with the help of the team at Charborough Road and enjoys the time he spends there, as parents we feel informed and engaged in his development.
